How to Add Categories and Images in the Build A Gang Sheet App
Organizing your artwork and uploads into categories enhances usability and improves your customers’ shopping experience. This guide shows you how to create categories, upload images, and configure gallery settings using the Build A Gang Sheet App on Shopify.
1. Access the App
From your Shopify admin dashboard, go to the Apps section and open Drip Apps: Build A Gang Sheet.
2. Navigate to the Images Tab
Inside the app, locate and click the Images tab to begin managing image assets and categories.
3. Add a New Category
Click on Add Category. In the prompt that appears, enter the name for your new category.
4. Upload Category Thumbnail
Click the field that says Files supported: .png & .jpg to upload an image that represents the category.
5. Submit the Category
After entering the name and uploading an image, click Submit to save your new category.
6. Add Images to a Category
Click Add Images and select the category you’d like to upload images to. Then click Browse Files and select the images from your device.
7. Explore the Category and Tag Views
Use the Categories and Tags tabs to review and manage all images. You can also filter by All or Active to see available assets visible to customers.
8. Configure Image Gallery Settings
Go to the General tab and click on Image Gallery. Here you can adjust display settings for how images appear on the storefront.
9. Apply a Watermark
If you'd like to protect your artwork, use the available settings to increase the watermark visibility or size.
10. Save All Changes
After completing your updates, click Save All to ensure your changes are applied and stored successfully.
