Builder Settings – Turn Off the Text Feature

This guide will walk you through how to disable the text feature within the Builder settings of the Build A Gangsheet App. This is useful if your shop doesn’t require customers to add text to their designs and you'd prefer to streamline the design interface.

Step-by-Step: Disabling the Text Feature

1. From the main dashboard, click the Gang Sheet tab.
2. Select Update More to reveal additional configuration options.
3. Navigate to the Settings section.
4. Click on Settings again to access the full configuration panel.
5. Click on the Builder tab to view design-specific settings.

Builder Tab Overview

In the Builder tab, you’ll find a range of customization tools including:

• Supported File Types
• Auto Resize Image to meet 300 DPI
• Enable Canva Integration
• Enable Background Warning
• Auto Resize for Single Image Variants
• Spacing and Tool Settings

Turning Off the Text Feature

1. Scroll to the Text Feature section within the Builder tab.
2. If you don’t plan on letting customers add text to their designs, simply toggle the setting to disable the feature.

Pro Tip: Disabling the text feature can help reduce clutter in the design tool and prevent customer errors if text isn’t part of your product offerings.

Once turned off, the interface will no longer display the option to add or edit text, resulting in a cleaner user experience.
