Builder Settings: Enable Agree Modal

The Agree Modal is a legal protection feature that presents a mandatory confirmation box to customers during checkout. It serves as a digital signature, confirming that the customer has the rights to their artwork, accepts the final file quality, and assumes responsibility for any printing issues unrelated to the platform.

1. Open Builder Settings

From your dashboard, go to Settings > Settings > Builder.

This tab includes controls for Supported File Types, DPI settings, Canva integration, Background Warnings, Auto-Resize for single images, and more.

2. Enable the Agree Modal

Locate the setting labeled "Enable Agree Modal" and toggle it on.

This will activate a pre-checkout modal requiring the customer to acknowledge and agree to your terms.

The agreement typically includes confirmation of:

  • Ownership or rights to the uploaded artwork
  • Responsibility for artwork quality and colors
  • Exclusion of printer liability for design defects

3. Customer Agreement Process

After designing their gang sheet, the customer must click “Save & Add to Cart”.

Before completing checkout, they will encounter a checkbox labeled with your custom agreement language, such as:

“By checking this box, you agree that you have full rights or own this artwork. You also agree that you understand that the images uploaded are correct and the printer is not responsible for any differences in color or artwork quality.”

They will not be able to proceed unless they accept the agreement.

Why Use the Agree Modal?

  • Protects your business from copyright infringement claims
  • Reduces customer disputes over image quality or print results
  • Establishes clear terms of service at the point of purchase
