How to Use Canva with the Build A Gangsheet App

Great news! The Build A Gangsheet App now integrates with Canva, allowing your customers to create and export designs directly from Canva into the app. This tutorial shows how to connect and use the Canva integration for easy design transfer and customization.

Step-by-Step: Connecting Canva

1. From the design interface, click on the Canva button to begin the connection process.
2. Click Connect when prompted to authorize the Canva integration.
3. Select Allow to give Canva permission to link with your Build A Gangsheet workspace.

Creating and Exporting Designs

1. Click on the Canva image placeholder or template that appears after connecting.
2. After finishing your design, click Export New Design to send it directly to your image library in the app.

Pro Tip: Be cautious with white backgrounds in Canva—these can sometimes blend into the design area. We’re currently working with Canva to improve this behavior for better transparency handling.
