Appearance Settings – Customize the Builder and User Experience (Woo)
This guide explains how to access and configure the Appearance Settings in the Build A Gangsheet App. These settings allow you to control visual and functional elements of the builder, such as layout style, popup behavior, default tools, and display options.
Step-by-Step: Navigating Appearance Settings
- Click on the Update More option from the main dashboard.
- In the sidebar, select Settings.
- Click the middle-tab labeled Settings again to reveal configuration options.
- From the settings menu, choose the Appearance tab.
- Use the toggle to turn Show Welcome Popup ON or OFF depending on whether you want to display a welcome message to users.
- When ON, the welcome popup will display to users upon entry. When OFF, it will be disabled.
- Select between List View or Gallery View for how design assets are displayed in the builder.
- In List View, assets appear in a scrollable list format.
- In Gallery View, assets are shown as thumbnail previews. Make sure you've added desired images in settings for them to appear here.
- Toggle the option to display Start a Brand New Gang Sheet ON or OFF. This determines if the option appears to users on the front-end.
- Toggle Open a Previously Ordered Gang Sheet ON or OFF to control whether users can access past submissions easily.
- Enable or disable Auto Build mode. When enabled, users can simply select images and the system will generate the layout automatically.
- With Auto Build ON, users will bypass the manual builder and directly generate a layout from selected images.
- The Auto Build setting also appears in various parts of the builder, offering flexible access to this feature.
- Turn ON the Open Working Gang Sheet option to automatically reopen the last unfinished gang sheet for users continuing their work.
- You can also toggle the Name and Number feature ON or OFF. This feature allows users to add personalized text elements to designs.
