Builder Settings: Background Warning
The Background Warning feature in the Build a Gang Sheet app helps alert customers when their uploaded designs still contain a background. This guide shows how to enable and manage this feature from the Builder settings.
1. Open App Settings
From your dashboard, click on Settings.
2. Select the "Builder" Tab
Click on the Builder section to access customization options for the design interface.
3. Enable Background Warning
Find the setting labeled "Enable Background Warning".
This will notify customers if their design still includes a background image.
4. Save the Setting
Click "Save All" to apply this setting for all customers using your app.
5. How It Works for Customers
Once enabled, when a customer uploads a design with a background, the Background Warning will automatically pop up.
6. Customers Can Dismiss the Warning
If the customer doesn’t want to see the alert again, they can click “Don’t show again”.
7. Remove Background Option
Additionally, customers will be provided with a “Remove Background” button to clean up their designs easily.
Why Use This Feature?
- Prevents accidental printing of background elements.
- Improves final print quality by catching common design oversights.
- Gives customers a chance to correct issues before submitting their designs.
