Image Gallery Settings: Category View Mode
The Category View Mode setting determines how your image gallery is displayed to customers—either by folder view or as a flat list. Choosing the right layout helps improve navigation and overall user experience when browsing artwork or assets. This guide walks through how to configure the category view mode in your gallery settings.
1. Click on "Apps"
From your Shopify admin, begin by clicking Apps to access your installed applications.
2. Launch "Build a Gang Sheet"
Click on the Build a Gang Sheet app to open the custom design builder where gallery settings are managed.
3. Open the Settings Tab
In the top navigation, click on the Settings tab to adjust gallery preferences.
4. Click "Image Gallery"
From the left-hand settings panel, click on Image Gallery to open the image-specific configuration options.
5. Choose a Category View Mode
Scroll to the Category View Mode section. You’ll have the option to display your image categories as folders (grid layout) or as a flat list. Choose the layout that best aligns with your customer's browsing behavior.
Why Use Category View Mode?
