Build and Design
This feature allows shops to import sheets or design sheets and assign them to specific customers in the Build a Gang Sheet app.
1. Navigate to Build and Assign
1. In Shopify, open the Build a Gang Sheet app and go to the Build and Assign tab.
2. Choose one of the following options:
- Import Design – if you already have a design to import.
- Build Design – if you want to create a new design inside the builder.
2. Build Design
- Choose which builder product you want to create a design on.
- Design your gang sheet in the builder.
- Save your design.
- Go back to the Build and Assign tab, click on the newly saved design, and then click Assign Customers.
- Enter the customer’s email address that you want this design to be available for.
3. Import Design
Use Import Design when you already have a finished design file that you want to assign to a customer. The imported design will appear in the Build and Assign area, where you can then select it and assign it to specific customer emails, just like a built design.
As long as this customer is signed into the builder and is on the same product the design was created on, they will be able to access the newly assigned design in their Previous Designs tab in the right menu within the builder.
