Builder Settings: Add or Remove Text Feature
The Text Feature allows customers to add their own custom text when building gang sheets. If your workflow or use case does not require text editing—such as in image-only print workflows—you can disable it entirely. This guide explains how to enable or remove the feature within the Standalone Builder.
1. Navigate to the Builder Settings
Go to the Builder tab in your Standalone dashboard. This section contains tools for customizing file types, auto-resizing, spacing, overlays, and feature toggles.
2. Locate the Text Feature Toggle
Scroll down to find the toggle labeled "Enable Text Feature". If your customers do not need to add text to their gang sheets, turn this setting OFF.
3. Preview the Before and After
When the feature is enabled, customers will see a text tool in the builder. When it is disabled, the tool is removed, simplifying the interface and minimizing distractions during the design process.
