How to Zoom and Check Image Quality in the Build A Gangsheet App

Ensuring high-resolution print quality is essential. This guide shows you how to zoom into your designs, evaluate resolution, and make adjustments for the best output using the Build A Gangsheet App.

Step-by-Step: Upload and Check Image Quality

  1. Click Start a Brand New Gang Sheet from the dashboard.
  2. On the right-center tab, click the black button labeled Upload Image(s).
  3. Select up to 100 images to add to your gang sheet at once.
  4. Click on the images you want to place on your canvas.
  5. Use the black dots on the corners of the image to resize proportionally.
  6. Use the Zoom buttons on the right side to inspect image details closely.
  7. You can also drag the canvas to scroll up, down, left, or right for easier viewing.
  8. Ensure that the Show Resolution Lines option is checked.
  9. This feature uses colored outlines to indicate image quality:
    • Black box = Terrible resolution
    • Red or orange = Bad to good resolution
    • Green = Optimal resolution
  10. If the resolution is low, try reducing the image size slightly to improve quality.
  11. Click Save when you're satisfied with the gang sheet layout.
  12. Enter a Design Name when prompted.
  13. Click Save again to confirm.
  14. Enter the desired quantity of gang sheets to print.
  15. Click Save & Add to Cart.
  16. Check all confirmation boxes, including the one acknowledging artwork rights and color responsibility.
  17. Click Add to Cart & Exit to complete the upload.
  18. You’ll now see the option to Preview your sheet.
  19. Note: Even if the preview looks slightly blurry, if your image had a green resolution box during editing, it will print in high quality.
  20. If you'd like to double-check, simply click Edit to return to the editor.

Pro Tip: Always aim for a green resolution box before finalizing. It's the most reliable indicator that your image will print crisply, regardless of how the preview might render in your browser.
