Image Gallery Tab: How to Create Categories

This tutorial will guide you through the process of creating categories in the Image Gallery tab of WordPress. Organizing your images into categories helps you manage your gallery more effectively and makes it easier for customers to find specific images.

Step-by-Step: Creating Categories in the Image Gallery

  1. Once you click on the Gang Sheet section, you will see the Images tab, which lets you manage all your uploaded images.
  2. Click on Upload Images to upload the images you wish to make available to your customers.
  3. Once your images are uploaded, the Gallery tab will appear, showing all the uploaded designs.
  4. Click on Add Category to create a new category for your images. Categories help to group similar images together, improving navigation for customers.
  5. In the Enter category name field, type the name of your new category.
  6. If you want to enhance the visual appeal of the category, enable the Color Overlay option to add a colored overlay to the category thumbnail.
  7. Next, choose a Cover Photo that will visually represent the category. This photo will appear as the category's main image.
  8. Once all details are filled out, click Submit to create the new category.

Pro Tip: Categorizing your images makes it easier for customers to browse and find exactly what they're looking for. Be sure to use clear, descriptive category names and attractive cover photos for better user engagement.
