How to Change the Theme Template for Gang Sheet Products
For gang sheet products to function properly with the Build A Gangsheet App, it's important that your Shopify theme is using a template aligned with gang sheet layouts. This guide walks you through how to create or assign the appropriate theme template.
1. Open Sales Channels
In your Shopify admin, click "Sales Channels" from the left-hand menu to reveal available store views.
2. Navigate to Online Store
Select "Online Store" under your sales channels. This is where your active themes are managed.
3. Click Customize
Click the "Customize" button next to your active theme to launch the theme editor.
4. Select Page Type
In the theme editor, locate the dropdown at the top and select "Home Page" or switch to another template type if needed.
5. Go to Products
Within the template type selector, choose "Products" to view available product templates.
6. Create a New Product Template
If available, click "Create template" to make a new product-specific layout. If you don’t see this option, skip to the next step—your theme may already support customization.
7. Name the Template "gang sheet"
Enter "gang sheet" as the name of your new template. Then click Save to apply it.
