Upload by Size (Single Image Orders)

Overview

The Upload by Size feature allows customers to order one image</strong at custom sizes and quantities. This is ideal for newcomers to gang sheets or one-time print jobs.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Create the Product

1. Go to Products.
2. Click Add product.
3. Enter a product title like “Custom Upload by Size”.
4. Turn off Track quantity.
5. Skip adding options like size or color.

Step 2: Tag the Product

6. In Product Type, enter Gang Sheet.
7. In Tags, enter Gang Sheet.

Step 3: Save the Product

8. Click Save.

Step 4: Assign to the App

9. Go to Apps.
10. Select Build a Gang Sheet.
11. Click Products and find your new product.
12. Set Product Type to Upload Size.
13. Enter your price per square inch.
14. Click Save.

Step 5: Customize Your Theme

15. Go to Online Store → Customize.
16. Select the Products page.
17. Click Create Template, name it upload-by-size.
18. In the customizer, add a new block by clicking the ➕ button.
19. Select Apps > Gang Size.
20. Hide the Buy button Block, Price Block and Variants Block if needed.
21. Click Save.

Step 6: Apply to Product

18. Return to your product and assign the upload-by-size template.
19. Click Save.

Step 8: Try It Out

24. Click View Your Store.
25. Find your product and click Upload Image by Size.
26. Select an image and let it auto-remove the background.
27. Resize as needed and complete checkout.

Tips & Troubleshooting

• Older themes? You may need to manually assign the product template.
• Pricing too high or low? Adjust your price per sq inch to fit your pricing model.
